Emergency service window - Network maintenance 6 Feb - 01:00 AM - 04:00 AM

Last Wednesday, 2017-02-01 at 20:27 we experienced an internet disturbance that lasted about 2 minutes. We investigated this and found that it was a Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) change that caused it.
These type of changes are normal and should not cause any disruption. We have a theory why this happened and we need to schedule an emergency service window to verify it and to prevent this from happening in the future.

Time of maintenance:

Monday 6th February  between 01:00 - 04:00 CET
(Note - Sunday night moving into Monday)

Systems affected:
Internet access to our public cloud platforms can get disrupted for up to two times two minutes during the service window but we expect no disruption if the first fix solves the problem.

Customer environments downtime might occur!
(Internal network and server environments will not be affected but internet access can get disrupted)

We are sorry for the inconvenience this might cause you.  If you have any questions or face difficulties please contact Elastx support.

  • Hi,

Service window was successfully completed. We did experience a couple of short disruptions during the service window. The problem that we wanted to fix during this service window was not the problem we thought but we did find the actual issue and we managed to fix it during the service window.

    Have a nice week!
